Carolyn Laidley Arn is a Toronto-based professional artist, retired interior designer, and senior commercial real estate professional. She holds a Bachelor of Interior Design from the University of Manitoba.

Working primarily in acrylic, spray paint, and mixed media, Carolyn creates layered abstract paintings inspired by memory, place, colour, and the balance between chaos and calm. Her distinctive process often unfolds in her urban backyard studio, where large-scale works and experimental surfaces can develop freely.

Carolyn is a regular participant in juried art fairs including the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair, Riverdale ArtWalk, Ottawa Art in the Park, ArtWalk in the Square, and the Cabbagetown Art & Craft Festival. She is the immediate Past Chair of the Artists' Network, an elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists and the Ontario Society of Artists, and an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. Her work is held in private collections across Canada, the United States, and Australia.
